Recarta IT was established in 2005 and currently holds its head office in Ranmore Common (Dorking) with additional offices in Bristol, and Guernsey.
Recarta has three key strategies:
- To scope, supply and integrate enterprise server and storage solutions.
- Provide hosting, professional services and managed services to a wide range of server and storage clients.
- Supply and renew a wide range of vendor hardware, and software maintenance offerings. Alongside vendor software licensing, compliance, and renewals.
The company has continued to grow in all areas of the business, with predicted group revenues of £15 million in our current year ending March 2024. Recarta currently works with over 280 clients annually, servicing public sector, manufacturing, distribution, financial and retail sectors. Recarta currently employs 35 people including technical and sales consultants.
As our business enters another period of growth, we have a vacancy for a Project Coordinator to work within our Project Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate must be a vehicle owner due to our office location, and be within a 1 hour commute of Dorking, Surrey.
Key Deliverables:
This is a service oriented, focused role delivering services across two aspects of Recarta’s business. The ideal candidate will have been in a role where they are used to handling multiple projects/tasks at any time and is highly organised. They will report to the Programme Manager within the PMO.
Project Management (PM) Services:
Recarta delivers IT technical consultative services to its varied client base. This being across multiple IT vendors solutions, covering compute, hypervisor, storage, networking, security, data centre, managed services, etc. solutions. This can be a single engagement or ones that leads into a Managed Services solution. Therefore, we require an experienced IT Project Coordinator to engage independently within the PMO to plan, execute, monitor, and control consultative projects. Leading these to completion on budget and on time.
Key Responsibilities
To include but not limited to, the co-ordinating and oversight of:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the ongoing management and execution of projects
- Ensure that all projectsare delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives and involving all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure resource availability and allocation and skill set
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management tominimise project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
To complete and take part in:
- Contributing to the on-going development of the PMO by providing and sharing knowledge, experience, and expertise.
- Recognising opportunities for improvements to procedures by pro-actively offering ideas and solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience of working in a similar role
- High level of organisational skills
- Great educational background
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to interact with key stakeholders, internal or external
- Experience of task managing individuals
- Analytical and reporting skills
- Experience in motivating and leading others
- Experience in providing structured feedback and coaching
- Capable of managing own workload with minimal supervision
- Able to prioritise and distribute workloads effectively
- Able to deal with client and staffing issues in a professional and supportive manner through to resolution
- Keen to offer ideas and solutions
- Ability to encourage ideas from ground level

Terms and Conditions:
Hours: 09.00 to 17:30
Location: Dorking (hybrid)
Remuneration: £35,000 – £40,000 pa depending on experience.
Pension: Company contribution in line with government guidelines.
Holiday: 29 days per year, inclusive of Bank Holidays.
