Worried about costs?
There are naturally costs associated with de-installation, transportation and data erasure and disposal. Depending on the type of equipment and current market/residual values, costs can be cancelled out yielding a positive return in the process. Our RLM team will calculate costs and determine approximate market value of the equipment. If you select the upfront payment option, we will purchase the assets from you immediately and take into our stock for re-use/re-sale. If you select the consignment option, RLM will market all the equipment globally and take a commission of 40% of the final sales price. You still own the assets until sold. In 80% of cases this option will produce a higher sales price and better return for you.
WEEE Directive
Under the WEEE directive, businesses must do everything they can to re-use electrical equipment. RLM operate a policy of maximum refurbishment, re-use and recycling with over 90% of equipment collected being re-purposed. As your partner for WEEE disposal, you can be sure that you are following the directive.
