Microsoft Update 25- OneDrive

Microsoft 365 – OneDrive Storage policy changes for unlicensed accounts

Starting January 2025, Microsoft will implement changes to storage policies for unlicensed OneDrive accounts. This will affect data access for admins and end users if the account has been unlicensed for more than 90 days.

“Beginning January 27, 2025, any OneDrive user account that has been unlicensed for longer than 93 days becomes inaccessible to admins and end users. The unlicensed account is automatically archived, viewable via admin tools, but remains inaccessible until administrators take action on them.”
