I am getting asked more and more by our ISV channel about supplying appliances across the world to support their software applications. So what is ISI/ISR?
IBM’s ISI/ISR programme is a teaming process. Along with our distributor – Recarta forms an alliance with an Industry Solution Reseller (ISR) (ISV in old money!) to provide an application solution that is distributed via channel partners or directly to global end user customers.
The programme helps the ISRs to develop integrated products and solutions based on IBM technology. These solutions being referred to as “appliances”. They are repeatable solutions that can be brought to market quickly and at a low cost. Most importantly – these solutions can be made available to customers across the globe.
